Spring has arrived – it’s time for maximum physical fitness

Spring is in the air and it’s time to get rid of the winter pounds and set your health and fitness goals.

How we feel physically plays an important role in all aspects of our life. It influences our moods and energy levels. Exercise, diet, and nutrition play an important role in our physical health.

Fitness means keeping your body in shape and keeping fit. Nutrition is about giving your body the right ingredients to make it work smoothly. Both help you feel energized, which is so important for motivation and happiness, which in turn improves our general physical health.

Here are some simple ideas to help you get started and help you define your goals.

Drink lots of water. Yes, it’s easy but so important. It’s easier said than done. Bring a bottle of water with you everywhere. Water is important! It helps with fat loss, clears the body of impurities and transports all waste away from the body. We recommend drinking 8 glasses of water a day.

Start by stretching. Stretch a few times a day. Stretching is a great thing in the morning, but remember to stretch when you’re out during the day, at work and at night. Stretching increases blood circulation and flexibility. It also reduces stress and improves coordination.

Continue to Take a walk around the block and then walk from there.

Again, it’s a good thing to run first thing in the morning because it “makes you run”, but whenever you can be just as good. Walking gives you more energy, helps you sleep better, helps you get your leg muscles back into shape and, like any type of exercise, helps relieve stress.

Make healthy choices while eating. Avoid junk food and these simple carbohydrates such as cakes, chips, white bread, fruit juices with added sugar, sweets, and soft drinks. Eat proteins that help build healthy muscles. The proteins are found in chicken breast, lean turkey, fish and egg whites. Pay attention to the fat content in the foods you eat and avoid trans fats and saturated fats.
